BUZZBEE was created on a 1MB 520ST by Dann Parks-- it took 5 splines, 50+ hours of rendering, and a lot of manual work for her to finish this Cyber Spectacular. She used almost every product and feature of the Cyber family for this animation. Dann is the Art Director for KTEH Channel 54, the public television station in San Jose, California. The movement for flying bee in the animation was done using a custom CyberControl routine which Dann wrote to control the speed of an object moving along a spline while giving total control of slow-in/out and speed. The fish was created with CyberSculpt, the vase was done with CyberTexture, and the "transparent" water was created using CyberPaint's Matting and Separation features. Any questions or comments about this animation can be sent to Dann's personal CompuServe account [73077,2361]. Some of her other animations include the "Flying Saucer" demo shown in the Antic Catalog and on the CyberMation video tape (the saucer has a light source "slaved" to it as it flies through several Grecian columns) and the "paper airplanes" animation also shown in the Antic Catalog advertisement for CyberPaint.
