For those of us with Falcons and using (trying) dBMAN - I have a following workaround which may of use to you (all). Implement the 'fix' using dBMAN's own commands. Specifically the following commands (apply them anywhere within a filename.cmd of your choice): set erase video to 1 set say video to 1 set get video to 4 These set color values for three video modes (?). What you should wind up with, for these numbers, is red text on a white background and the indicator/selector/cursor line is a pleasant blue. I use this setup exclusively from now on in 16 or 256 color hi-res. You can read the full screen with no difficulty. Play with the numbers if you wish to set up different colors (don't know how many selections that are workable, up to you to find out). In addittion, if you save these (or more commands) in a file specifically named AUTO.CMD (I think) - then dBMAN will automatically load and run that CMD file every time you start dBMAN (make sure that file is in the same directory as dBMAN, of course). -------------------------- Another tidbit, don't use the PIXEL GRABBER Accessory at the same time you intend to use dBMAN - dBMAN will not load.
