INSTANT GRATIFICATION --------------------- After reading over FILECOPY.TXT I realized that it goes into ALOT of detail, perhaps more than is necessary (nahhh ;-). This file is intended to get you going quickly on a _BASIC_ level. o Load the program. o Select a SOURCE drive letter (for the fileselector), A-P. o Select a DESTINATION drive letter (for the fileselector), A-P. o Click on the name "Source Directory". When the fileselector appears, open a folder and click on OKAY in the fileselector. The line should then look like... A:\FOLDER\ . o Repeat this for selecting a destination folder (if the preset is not to your liking). The line should look like... B:\FOLDER\ . o Enter a SETUP NAME and any COMMENTS. o Select the SET button (or click on an arrow) to save this setup in memory. o Select the SAVE button to save either an SBL , SBE or CNF file. Select the LOAD button to load a SAVED SBL or SBE file. o Select the COPY button to copy the contents of A:\FOLDER\ to B:\FOLDER\ . o THAT'S _BASICALLY_ IT ! o NOTE: FOLDER names MUST end with a backslash " \ " or FileCopy will think it's a FILE. To understand the details of what's happening and why, read FILECOPY.TXT . OVERVIEW OF ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS -------------------------------- o The arrows to the right of the SETUP NAME are for scrolling through your library. o The DISPLAY button toggles the STATUS DISPLAY on and off. o The ALERTS button activates warning alerts. o The EXPERT button allows you to copy SBL files with minimum input. o The FILE button allows access to extended file functions. o The SORT button allows sorting of library files (read FILECOPY.TXT before using !) o The SET button saves the current setup in memory.
