    DO NOT write to these files in ANY way or they MAY destroy themselves !

    This includes...

    o  Setting the FastBit.
    o  Setting the READ WRITE / READ ONLY  flag.
    o  Setting the ARCHIVE, SYSTEM or HIDDEN bits.
    o  Setting the time and date STAMP. 
    o  Squeezing or packing for run-time.
    o  Basically writing to them on ANY level.

    o  You CAN (re)compress them for archival storage or transference as this
       does not actually write to the file(s) in a way which alters them.

    For some as yet undiscovered reason, NAARJEK3.PRG  _DOES NOT_ get along
    with CACHEnnn.PRG from Atari. It MAY run the first time but will almost
    certainly crash every time after.

    If you are using CACHEnnn.PRG from Atari you will need to disable it
    and CLEAR it from memory (disable it and reboot your computer).

    NAARJEK3.PRG  _may_ conflict with other disk caching, so if you're
    experiencing crashing when the program tries to load, disable your
    cache.

    Naarjek 3 works on ALL ST/STe/TT computers in medium or high resolution
    and SHOULD work on the new Falcon030. It has been tested with TOS 1.2,
    1.4, 1.6 and 2.05 and has worked fine. Since the routines are NOT    
    "hacks" (ie: software that only works under strict conditions or versions
    of TOS), it SHOULD work on ALL versions of TOS.

    RE-RELEASE NOTES:

 o  You can differentiate this "release" from the last by selecting
    number 4 from the Naarjek "Skill" menu.

 o  An additional U-WORM (tapeworm) will be activated within Naarjek
    if it appears you are having inordinate difficulties.


    PLEASE read ALL of NAARJEK3.TXT before assuming a bug exists...unless,
    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
    a) the program crashes under conditions which can be consistently
       reproduced.
    b) the program "locks up" under these same conditions.

    otherwise it is HIGHLY likely that Naarjek has discovered your
    tampering and is playing games on you...:-)


    The REAL reason for this re-release.

    Michael at Suzy B's Software has mentioned to me that he could only
    get Naarjek to work if run from the root directory of drive A .

    I don't have a copy of the file I sent to Michael so I went back
    and recompiled it. As far as I can tell it works perfectly when
    run from ANY drive or directory.

    My best guess is that the copy I sent him was compiled while
    CACHEnnn.PRG was in memory, and was therefore corrupted.
    Hopefully this problem has been resolved. My apologies for any
    inconveniences this may have caused.
