Info added to READ_ME.1ST on the Squish II v2.1x MASTER disk: ***** Squish II v2.12 [12-22-93] + Made 'set date/time stamp' (Fdatime) calls compatible with TOS4's GEMDOS. + Window off leftside Corrected the redraw problems when the window is dragged off the leftside of the screen under Geneva. And updated the window centering algorithm to be compatible. + Memory alert If you don't have enough memory, the 'Memory error' alert is given in two locations of the Squish operation which previously would not give a visible error message and just returned you back to the Main dialog. ***** Misc Notes: For MultiTOS, UNSQUISH.PRG has to run after MINT.PRG in the AUTO folder, otherwise UnSquish gets unhooked from the system. You can do this simple trick- o Make a second copy of UNSQUISH.PRG in the AUTO folder, renaming it to UNSQSH_2.PRG. o Re-sort the AUTO folder to have UNSQUISH.PRG run _before_ MINT.PRG and any squished AUTO program. o Re-sort the AUTO folder to have UNSQSH_2.PRG run right _after_ MINT.PRG. o The first copy will do its job, get unhooked when MINT.PRG runs and then UNSQSH_2 will be installed. The main file in MTOS, GEM.SYS, _CAN_ be squished. You will need to select 'Yes' in the "Excluded extender. Override?" alert.
