Title : 281 Jack and The Beanstalk Filename : 281jab.bsp Date : 12/20/96 Author : Jeff Blaine Email Address : jblaine@nda.com Description : Well, it all started out several months ago. I tried to reproduce my apartment with THRED and failed slightly because THRED is a pain in the ass to use for creating "clean" maps. I gave up. A week ago, I started in again, this time with Worldcraft. After finishing half of the level, I play-tested it with my roommate on our network and realized very quickly that all of my brushes were approximately 2 times too big. I laughed my ass off, and immediately I thought of Jack from _Jack and the Beanstalk_ running around in the giant's castle. At any rate, I think the level is pretty spiffy. I tried to place the weapons well and keep the unnecessary brushes down to a minimum. The maximum R_SPEED I got with this map is below 600, so gameplay should be fast (I have a P133 with 24MB and onboard S3 chipset from a year ago). The 281 in the filename is because our apartment is at "281 St. Paul Street" * Play Information * Single Player : No Cooperative : No Deathmatch : Yes (4 DM starts) New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : None.
