==================================================================== Title : ALSC Deathtrap by Darin McNeil ==================================================================== Filename : alsc.bsp Author : Darin McNeil Contact : e-mail: darin@usl.edu Description : This is a medium sized DM level, based somewhat on my workplace. This was more a learning attempt, but still pretty neat. Additional credits to : id Software - I know they don't need any more praise, but man I love these guys. Chris Carollo and Trey Harrison (Quest) Beta testers : Greg and Jasen. Thanks. ==================================================================== * Play information * Single player : No, but a few monsters were thrown in. Cooperative : No, ditto. Deathmatch 2-6 : Yep, this is the right size game. Deathmatch 7+ : Sure, but the gibs will fly! * Construction * Base : New level. Editor(s) used : Quest Known Bugs : No vis errors that I know of. * Miscellaneous info * This is my first Quake-map, and therefore there are things that should have been done differently. The long, open hallways and rooms wreak havoc on the visibility lists that keep Quake's engine running smooth. Don't do that, Quake was meant for densely occluded areas - NOT big open areas. Oh well, live and learn. I am very pleased with the flexibility of the engine, as far as object linking goes. Traps are fun to construct with Quake. Quake rules the Cosmos! * Legal stuff * You may distribute this map anyway you see fit, as long as it adheres to id Software's license. Please distribute this text-file with the level. Thanks.
