========================================================================== Title : Break007 v1.0 Filename : break007.bsp Author : Mikko Nieminen Email Address : mikkon@sci.fi WWW : http://www.sci.fi/~mikkon/ (personal hp) http://www.sci.fi/~mikkon/doh/doh.htm (DOH hp) Description : A small but detailed deathmatch level including some cool doors, wind tunnels and crushers. I tried to make this level good looking AND fun to play, since most of the levels I've seen seem to forget one or even both of those things. Additional Credits to : ID Software for Quake Chris Carollo & Trey Harrison for Quest Toni Wilen for help NecKro & many others in #quakeed for help all DOH members for playtesting ========================================================================== * Play Information * Level Name : Break007 v1.0 Single Player : only for checking Cooperative 2-16 Player : no Deathmatch 1-16 Player : yes, 7 player starts (more coming in later versions) Difficulty Settings : no Anything else new : no Comments : I'll leave this part to you.. Did you like this level? Are there some things that really suck in your opinion? Email me and let me know! But go easy on me - I'm only a beginner in making Quake maps... * Construction * Base : scratch Build Time : About two weeks. I don't usually work on a level more than two hours a day, but I did spend some time on getting the func_train to work properly. Qbsp-time : 291 Light-time (-extra) : 77 Vis-time (-level 4) : 1855 On P90 / win95 / 40mb ram Editor(s) used : Quest 1.090 TSE (best text editor for pc) Known Bugs : One of the doors (the one consisting of small pieces moving to different directions) doesn't work properly. One of the pieces moves slower than the others, altough the speed should be exactly the same. Anyone got some ideas for this? * Legal Stuff * You may distribute this level and include it in any deathmatch compilation etc., as long as you include my text file and give me credit. The .map may be edited and compiled for internal use, but the modified level may NOT be released without the author's expressed permission. * Where to get this MAP * Email me and ask nicely :)
