Museum of Art History (Kunsthistorisches Museum)

Not surprisingly, many of the art treasures once belonged to the rulers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire (nobody suggests who they belonged to prior to that). The Brueghels are among the best and most numerous in the world; Rubens, Dürer, Titian, Van Eyck, Velasquez, Vermeer, Holbein, and Rembrandt also jostle for attention on these hallowed walls. There's also a wonderful collection of Egyptian and Greek art.
