Schloss Belveder (Belvedere Palace)

The summer home of Prince Eugene of Savoy, the Belvedere Palace now houses three museums and actually consists of two palaces, Upper and Lower Belvedere.

In Upper Belvedere, completed in 1723, you'll find works by Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, and Oskar Kokoschka, as well as temporary special exhibits. Across the sculpture garden is Lower Belvedere, finished in 1716, with displays of medieval Austrian art, and another facility for Austrian Baroque.
