It is small, gladsome, and almost clublike. In fact, the restaurant, with its canalside terrace, is called the Club del Doge and is one of the best in Venice. Nothing has been spared in decor, staff, or the attributes of pure luxury. All 99 rooms and 10 suites come with stocked-bar-type fridges; all baths are marble. If expense is no object, try to reserve suite 110. It's one of the finest hotel accommodations, in terms of taste and in ambience, to be found anywhere.
