Formerly a convent, it is a beloved magnet for many in the Italian fashion industry. It has only 19 smallish rooms with private bath or shower, radio, phone, and TV; virtually no lobby (but an elevator). The wall-to-wall rugs and white-painted bamboo furniture are highlighted by the same vividly hued accents in the curtains, bedspreads, and towels. The maintenance here is superb, as is the hospitality of the staff, which has gained this hotel a loyal following. Breakfast is served in the rooms. There is no restaurant, but many to choose from nearby. Certainly in one of the best neighborhoods in Rome.
