It is located in what remains the finest residential district of Florence. All the accommodations are comfortably furnished with a homey atmosphere and very tastefully decorated. You will find only 35 rooms and five suites here, all with marble bath and shower, bidet, bathrobe, hair dryer, climate control, TV, and some rooms with a balcony or patio. Patrician main salon with crystal chandelier, stained-glass panels and textiled walls; courtly lounge; rich, dark wood-paneled dining room with fine china on casement shelves; delicate flower-dotted table settings. Services include a business center, child care, laundry/dry cleaning, concierge, parking (fee). The hotel itself is fronted by a park, which is close to the romantic Donatello Cemetery. While space is limited, the extensive use of mirrors effects an air of greater space both in the main house and gardenside annex. There is no elevator either, but the decor is so strikingly beautiful that few could carp at such trifles. A unique spot that may not be for everyone, but with qualities that are unmatched in large establishments.
