Holy Week, Rome


	Holy Week Religious events take on special intensity in Rome, with the Vatican's presence as well as some of the major pilgrimage sites for the Catholic church. The high point of the Christian calendar is Holy Week, when Catholics from around the world converge on Rome to make pilgrimages to the main basilicas and to hear the pope give his blessing at St. Peter's.
