Description
This country-style eatery still radiates debutante grace. Cellar site with steps leading past a food display; long semidivided room, with paintings and sculpture adorning the stucco walls and white furniture. The ravioli is served in a huge porridge bowl; the grilled quail is fair game; after the repast, a house digestif is offered free of charge. It is a composition of—hold your breath—Creme de Cacao, Tio Pepe sherry, French cognac and Grand Marnier, afloat with whipped cream and garnished with a cherry. (Horrible as it sounds, it's delicious!)
