Named for the Three Steps that have been immortalized by Garibaldi, this café is situated on a large and lovely square, where all but walking traffic has been banned. So, it's a delight to sit under the awnings of the sidewalk terrace here, sipping coffee and sampling a dish of its famous ice cream. The specialty is the luscious chocorama called Tartufo, about US$6.
