Description
Only one room, sometimes one waiter (understandably, service a little brusque) and wonderful Tuscan cuisine. Not much decor, lots of sawdust, raffia, and mended tablecloths. Mario is dependable for wild game in season and Florentine bistecca. Another favorite is the ribollita, an everything-in-one-pot vegetable soup. It tends to get very crowded with lots of happy locals, but the fare is quite savory and inexpensive.
