Le Maschere is a popular Calabrese trattoria, several blocks south of the P. Rotonda and just west of Largo Arenula. The antipasto table is vast, with five varieties of eggplant; the pastas, like pappardelle alla gondoliere (with seafood) and the swordfish are good, but the pizza is a favorite here.
