San Giórgio Maggiore
Located on the island of San Giórgio Maggiore, this church was built by Palladio, the great 16th-century architect. Tintoretto's Last Supper and Descent of Manna are the prime treasures here. A stunning vista of the Doge's Palace across the water can be seen from the top of the church belfry.
