Description
A traditional 17th-century inn and restaurant behind the Accademia, the Locanda has been a favorite of the famous from way back. Its picture-lined, rugged inner sanctum and adjoining bar are hot spots, but many prefer the vine-lined summer garden. The cookery is simple and substantial, and prices are decent. The place is still frequented by artists, the nobility, and a grateful travel writer or two. Try the house filet in a rich sauce.
