This program will randomly change the desktop wallpaper to other BMP files at user defined intervals. Completely stealth program will be undetected by all. You just select the directory where the BMP files are stored, and this program randomly displays a new wallpaper. Can be used for a joke or for those people who think change is good. The great thing about this program is that it runs behind the scenes. The user will not be able to detect why their desktop wallpaper keeps on changing. You can now run this program and all its options via command line.

Usage

Close/Exit

Common Usages:

Change a user's shortcut from a commonly used application to Random Wallpaper Changer. Example
Use WinStartup (live link) to setup that Random Wallpaper Changer execute every time the computer is turned on
Run the program while the user is away from the computer

Close/Exit:

Random Wallpaper Changer runs hidden in the background of all of the Windows operating systems. There is no easy way to stop this program (which makes it a great stealth program). To terminate Random Wallpaper Changer press CTRL-ALT-DEL to view the task manager. Select the program called 'rwc', and press <End Task>.

Command Line:

To use the command line options do this
- For Directory path - add a /d{full path to directory} to the end of the command line
- For Minute Timer - add a /t{# of minutes to switch} to the end of the command line
- For Wallpaper Style - add a /s{Style type, 1=Tile 0=Center} to the end of the command line
- Example: "C:\JOKES\chng_paper.exe" "/dC:\WINDOWS" /t2 /s1 - would load all BMP files from the C:\WINDOWS directory every 2 minutes, and tile the bitmap.
By Default, if NO command line option are specified, the program does into setup mode.

How Do I:

Create a Windows shortcut?
- Right-click on the program you want to create a shortcut for
- Select 'Create Shortcut' from the popup menu
- This will create a shortcut to the program at the same directory level. (See below for editing a shortcut)
Edit a shortcut?
- Select/Highlight a Windows shortcut
- Right-click on the shortcut
- Select 'Properties' from the popup menu
- Click on the 'Shortcut' tab
- Modify the 'Target' field with the drive letter and path to this program name. (Ex. C:\JOKES\{program name}.EXE )
Edit/Add command line options?
- Same as above except...
- Modify the end of the 'Target' field and add your command line options
