FREDERICK NIETZSCHE
(1844-1900)

German philospher. Born at Rocken,Saxony. He attended Bonn University and
was Professor and was appointed Prof. of Greek at Basle. He abondoned
theology for philology and was geatly influenced by Wagner and Schopenhauer.
He suffered a permanent mental breakdown in 1889.

He supported the idea of the higher man, the Superman and rejected
liberalism and christianity making him a controversial philosopher even
within today's liberal consensus.
