VICTORIA
(1819-1901)

Victoria,Queen of England and Empress of India. Only child of Edward, Duke
of Kent, 4th son of George III she was born at Kensington Palace. She became
Queen on in 1837 after the death of her uncle William IV. In 1840, she
married Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and had 5 sons and 4 daughters. To date
she has been Britain's longest reigning monarch.
