UNIFICATION OF EGYPT
                         
                         
Up to about 3200 BC, Egypt was divided between two kingdoms known as
Upper and Lower Egypt (pre-dynastic Egypt). However, with the rise of 
King Menes the Fighter,(who may possibly have been of Sumerian origin),
the two kingdoms were forcibly united and the 1st and 2nd dynasties were
founded (Archaic period to -2800BC)
