Jack Jenkins Jack Jenkins, V.P. Advertising Sales
advertise@winfiles.com
Jack joined the WinFiles.com team in late 1996 and is responsible for managing the team that recruits advertisers to finance the Web site's operations. He has over 25 years in sales and marketing. Jack started his career as a sales trainer for a division of Xerox Corporation. Jack has worked as a sales and marketing manager for companies both in the US and overseas. He has always had an interest in what's new and unusual, especially in consumer electronics. He was the first on his block to have a "reverb" sound system in his car (pre-stereo). He likes anything that has a motor, sounds loud, and goes fast. Jack like to spend his "spare" time surfing (the 'Net, of course) and traveling. Among his favorite places to travel is Victoria, BC, and he spent Christmas 1997 in Australia with his wife, Barbara. In his "additional" spare time, he works on his pet project: restoring a 1947 CJ2A Jeep.

Harlyn Jenkins Harlyn Jenkins, Senior Producer, 32-bit Software Collection
shareware@winfiles.com
Harlyn manages and produces the 32-bit Software Collection, and did most of the work populating the shareware database for our March 1997 redesign - staying up for days at a time helping his older brother, Steve, transfer all the text-only information on the Web pages into its new database format. Harlyn enjoys snow skiing, roller-blading, and riding his motorcycle. He is currently a sophomore attending college in Seattle.

(unknown) (unknown), Senior Producer, Hardware Drivers Collection
drivers@winfiles.com
Our Hardware Drivers Producer is a mystery. We've never met him, and he's never met any of the rest of us. He originally contacted us via anonymous email in late 1996 and expressed a desire to manage the Hardware Drivers Collection, so we accepted. We don't know his name, we don't know his whereabouts, and we especially don't know how he's been able to keep his identity such a well-guarded secret, even though he's been mentioned on Unsolved Mysteries twice. What we do know, however, is that the Drivers Collection keeps getting updated, so he must be out there somewhere...

Phoenix BIOS Phoenix BIOS, Official Mascot
phoenix@winfiles.com
Phoenix BIOS, our beloved doggie/mascot, is endearingly named after the well known manufacturer of computer BIOS chips. He is a short-haired Dachshund, and serves as a constant companion to WinFiles.com Webmaster Steve Jenkins. Phoenix enjoys chewing up floppies, CD-ROMs, CD-ROM cases, user manuals, printouts, power cords, network cables, and anything else you may be silly enough to leave in his path. He also enjoys barking, getting his belly rubbed, chasing other animals, and standing upright in order to receive a doggie-treat. He currently lives in Seattle, and hopes to weigh over 25 pounds by the time he is two years old.
