Submit your site for inclusion in the ring
Follow these steps to add a web page to the web ring:
- Fill in and submit the following form. The web page you are adding
must have some direct relevance to the Amiga version of F1GP. Please
note that completing this form won't automatically add you to the ring -
after you submit the form, the details will be added to the "queue", waiting
for me to check that you've added the HTML code to the page in question,
and that it has relevant content.
- You will then receive your site id number. Make sure you
don't lose this or your password! Shortly after submitting the form
you will receive an e-mail confirming the details.
- Add the HTML code fragment to a visible place on
your page, replacing all occurances
of YOUR_SITE_ID with your site id number (very important).
The HTML code (with the site id number already inserted) will also be in
the confirmation e-mail message that you should have received - so you
can copy and paste it from there if you prefer.
You must add this code to your page soon after submitting the
above form.
If your web page uses frames, you must also put the HTML code fragment into
the NOFRAMES section, in addition to one of the pages that is shown inside
a frame. This ensures that the ring does not break when somebody
visits your site (via the webring) with a browser that doesn't support
frames (or if the user has disabled frames).
- Sit back and relax ;-) Your page will be added to the ring,
usually within a few days, as long as the HTML code fragment has been
added to your page. You will receive another short e-mail message once
I've added your page to the ring.
This code is required to be present on all pages that are part of the
ring. Download the code (shift-click the
link) to your computer which you can then insert in your web page.
Alternatively just click the link to view the code and
then select all the code and paste it into your web page (if you browser
supports "cut'n'paste").
Remember to replace all occurances
of YOUR_SITE_ID with your site id number. Your site
will not be added to the ring until the correct code has been added to
your page.
When you put the code in your page, it will produce the following:
Amiga F1GP Web Ring [

List ]
Please don't change this code more than absolutely necessary. It's ok to
translate the text into another language and make superficial changes, but
please try and keep it browser independent.
